Crystal Light. I love the taste of fruit juice, but it does have a lot of wasted calories. I'm not saying I don't drink juice, but my family discovered Crystal Light. A drink powder made by the huge Kraft company.
It has very little calories, in fact 4, per serving of 250 mL. It comes in a variety of flavors, the one I will be writing about is Raspberry Ice. There is also cranberry,orange strawberry banana and more that I haven't tried.
The directions tell you to add quite a bit of water to the little pouch of flavored powder. You stir and there you go! You're done! It takes very little effort. It makes quite a bit of the drink.
To make it 5 calories or less per serving, they have to put the nasty Aspartame ingredient that they put in diet drinks.
I will continue to drink Crystal Light, but I won't drink it all the time. To me it's just as bad for you as a diet pop without the caffeine.
The taste of Raspberry Ice is OK. I prefer less water so there is a sweeter taste. The taste is quite light and refreshing. To me it tastes like flavored water.
Overall, this is a good drink,probably for people on diets, people who don't like the calories in other drinks. You compromise calories for taste though.
