I have been a regular at Crosswords since the last 15 odd years. Remember the days of ‘Shriram Recommends’. In those days, the quality and service were impeccable – not a single flaw.
With the expansion of the bookstore, the service is no longer perfect. But, it still ranks as the best chain of bookstore in the country.
The range of books differs from store to store. However, you will all find the latest bestsellers in all bookstores. My favourite bookstore in Mumbai is undoubtedly the Kemps Corner one. There is only one word to describe it –HUGE! The ones at Inorbit Mall, Malad and Inorbit, Vashi are also superb.
One issue that I have faced is with Gift Cards. Its Gift Cards are not accepted at all it bookstores. They cite that all stores don’t have the systems to accept the same.
