Worthwhile shopping experience!. Review on Crossroads, Mumbai

One of the rare things to find in Mumbai is huge places -- whether it is residence, hotel, restaurants or shopping malls. Everything is packed and shrunk so much to utilise the space effectively and not without reasons.

CrossRoads, of course comes up as a unique case. Vast stores spread across 4-5 floors provide a perfect place to shop around -- readymades for all -- men, women, children. The prices are standard and one can find all the top brands around.

Imported stuff (watches, cameras etc) are also available but the price levels are at times pretty on the high side -- Heera Panna, one has the chance to bargain but not here. Also, the accessories/toiletries part is mostly imported -- most of the cosmetics range, especially deos/perfums is pretty expensive because of that. The Pantaloons at ground floor does have Indian brands but not much variety.

The staff is also helpful and my experience has been better here than other places in Mumbai.

And, I cannot help coming back to the restaurants! The mall has a good range of that -- especially, the opportunity to get a look at the food -- Lebanese, Chinese, Mexican and not to forget our own South Indian and North Indian. The prices are affordable. And also, the ambience around is good. Else, the Mac is always there but very crowded.

The crowds are pretty large at times -- but the entry ticket did help to discourage window shoppers. Parking is however available at the basement. Traffic jams outside the store were a big issue but of late, I find they are managing it efficiently.

So try the Crossroad, surely for a good shopping experience.
