I've been a regular visitor to Croma Vashi. We've purchased a bit of stuff from there - a digital camera, an oven, remote controlled toy car for the children, and lately, a playstation and some game CDs.
I must say that every visit to Croma has been a pleasurable experience for us. It is vast and wide, the staff does not really disturb you(unless your daughter starts playing with the keyboards of the expensive laptops:-), in which case they just came and stood close to us), there is a good range of computers, laptops, TVs and home electrical equipment.
The remote controlled cars did not have a good range though. I also did not find enough games for the PS2.
When asked for help, I found the staff pretty helpful every time. Everytime we made a purchase, they spent quite a bit of time explaining the product in detail, even multiple times. For instance, when I purchased a digital camera, the person explained how to use it in detail to me. And when my son said that he did not understand, he took the time and effort to explain it to him. And then noticing my daughter feeling left out, he repeated it - in short, this time.
That was on my first visit. No wonder, I've been going there again and again.
Another friend of mine has also shared a very pleasurable experience when he bought a vU plasma TV from there, including the sales experience and the after sales service(installation, training etc.)
We tend to write when things are bad, so why not appreciate these positives too!
However, a criticism at the end - I personally found their latest Diwali ads in bad taste. The'Mithai' Indian thing is grossly caricaturized, especially the girl with the two golden ribbons!
