Extremely sad but one feels betrayed when a Tata brand resorts to open cheating. I have suffered the first hand experience on 29th Oct'09 at Juhu Croma Store. In the process of buying a pen drive enquired the price of a 320 GB transcend hard disk(which incidently I had purchased the day before from Vijay Sales at Infinity Mall, Andheri W) .
To my shock for the 320 GB Transcend for which I had paid Rs. 3990/- on 28th Oct'09 same product Croma guys have put up a sale price of Rs. 4599/-. To my good fortune I was carrying the receipt of vijay Sales and showed it to them(Obviously they were not believing). Lo behold immediately the floor manager agreed to match the price of Vijay Sales.
Imagine an unsuspecting customer who doesn't survey straight away falls into the trap. Somebody should answer this entire "Value for money" "True" etc statements of Mktg guys.
