With so many retail stores which have come up in mumbai it is diffiult to decide. I wanted to buy a printer and a
music system. I had croma booklet with me. Now croma was slightly far away from my place so I called vijay sales
which was near to my place. I asked them the price of a printer and they refused. Their reason was they do not
provide prices over the phone. I said chuck it. I called up next retail which is again near my place. They gave me
the price. I called croma then and the croma price and next price had a huge Rs 700 difference for my particular
printer. I decided to visit croma since the cost advantage would cover my petrol expenses. Croma mulund is a stones
throw away from Rmall. On the way I also visited next store just to have a look at their products. I wasnt impressed
with their products since they looked dusty as well as slightly worn out in their display products. I went ahead to
croma mulund Parking was a problem. A smart thing would be to park your car in rmall and then walk to croma. Since
it was sunday I thought rmall would be full. after looking out for parking space for around 10 min I got a space
right infront of the store. so far so good. I went inside the store. the store smelled good with a whiff of
electronic air. it was very wll lit was also spacious. I was promptly attended by a sales person. he was smart, well
dressed and had a good product knowledge. just to check him I asked him some grey market information about refiling
cartridge and he was straightforward with his replies. I selected my printer and went to the music system section
where also I had good experience. I selected my product and went tio the payment counter. This was my only bad
experience. I was made to wait for 10 min. the guy ahead of me was buying only a headset. again when my turn came it
took him nearly 15 min to complete my transaction. the products were very well displayed. variety was good.
electronic accessories are in huge quantity as well as variety in croma. one of the reason you should shop with them
is because they are backed by a huge corporate like TATAs. so in case if anything goes wrong rest asured they should
take care of it in their capacities.
