I had gone to Croma T Nagar in Chennai to make some purchases. First I purchased a Beetel Landline phone. I took it home, it was not working. When I returned it I was asked to go to the Beetel service centre. When I raised objections, they asked me to pick up anything and adjust it against the value that I paid for the telephone. Which I thought was a compromise.
I picked up a Fridge, which I was promised will be delivered the next day, along with a free gift(a box fan). The delivery never happened. Finally I had to use non violent Satyagraha at their show room and conducted a sit in when I received a promise that it will be delivered the next day.
Finally the damn thing came.
No Gift so far. I am told I will have to approach the shop again.
So the moral of the story is stay away from CROMA. The fellows there have no knowledge about products. No handle on Delivery or the patience to explain anything.
But if you want to be cheated and insulted, there is no place like CROMA. You have come to the right place.
