I got an Essilor Crizal A2 lens made by I Plus Opticians(Address: 603, 1st Cross, C Block, AECS Layout, Kundanahalli, Bangalor - 37) on 23rd October'10. The shopkeeper sold it to me saying this is a fibre glass and with features like anti scratch, anti reflective, dust repellent and non breakable being fibre glass. All this including frame made at a price of Rs.3450/-. Today on 26th October'10 as my wife was holding the spectacles in her hand the lens just broke. Not sure if the shopkeeper sold me a fibre specs or a glass specs, but all that in the name of Essilor Crizal A2 and yes he gave me a authenticity card too. Now the shopkeeper Mr. Mohan(Mob. No. 9141702414) refuses to replace saying the glass is prone to break even if just held in hand.
Is that Essilor stands for?
I am higly disappointed with Essilor and I Plus Opticians Bangalore
