Can this Indian Team Win World Cup ?

My simple question is

Can this Indian Team win World Cup 2007 in West Indies

Answer is 0% chance. To win any tournament you need mixture of young and experienced cricketers. Everybody's the condition of Indian Experienced cricketers.

Sachin is out of form since last 1 year. Dravid will be 35 can bat well only. Sehwag is good but not reliable. Kaif and Yuvraj inconsistent. Dhoni still need to prove on fast pitches and quality attack.

Dont talk about bowling. Zaheer, Agarkar, Harbhajan, Kumble and Nehra are always injury prone and lost there edge in recent years. Pathan is speedless and lot slower than Medium Pacers. R P Singh is new.

Above all the pitches in WI will be fast, bouncy and bowler friendly. To get wickets on such pitches you need Fast bowlers not medium pacers. There is not much swing there but bounce and pace will be only for genuine fast bowlers.

Again on those pitches we have always struggled.

Mr. Chappell is not focusing on the WI conditions. He should start thinking of bowlers as well. All the changes/experiments done were on batting only. In ODIs bowlers are equally important as today 300 is again easily chasebles.

Last but not least we dont have genuine allrounders which can play for super sub.

I think BCCI and Chappell should rethink on the current Indian team and than plan for World Cup.

I can see some young talents sitting outside not getting chances like Piyush Chawla (leg spinner/batsman), Avishkar Salvi, VRV Singh (Fast bowlers), Robin Utthappa, Dheeraj Jadhav (Batsmans). All these should get chances for complete series keeping one senior player rested.

It would be better to Experiment by taking Fresh and Young Blood rather than changing batting order and roles of players.
