If you have ever seen or played proper cricket then you may understand this more properly. First we come to balling, the fast bowler has to literally run about 30-40 meters 6 times, and if he throws more than 4 overs its like running more than 250 meters.
Also after taking the run up he has to suddenly jump and at the same time rotate his both arms like a machine and throw the ball exactly where he wants to, that also at a speed of 130 - 140 kmph and then be ready to catch the ball if its is coming towards him.
Now lets come to batting, you see running between the stumps isn't that easy, the pitch is almost 50 meters long and if you have to run 2 or 3 runs you have to reach a speed of at least 18 kmph. And if the batsman has scored 35-40 runs by running he has like ran almost 2 or 3 km. If you want to hit a six then you have to gain so much power and energy and also hit at a right angle.
Now lets talk about wicketkeeping and fielding, the wicketkeeper has to be active everytime to catch the ball and also be fast for stumpings and runouts. The fastest stumping is done by MS Dhoni in 0.76 seconds. Also if he somehow leaves the catch by mistake he has to run and get the ball again if there is no fielder. The fielders also have to be fast to either stop the ball from hitting boundary or catch the ball or throw the ball for runout, They also have to dive to take catches or stop boundaries and taking catch while diving isn't easy, The other fielders also have to be alert and backup so that the batsmen can't take extra run or boundary. The direct hits are also not easy cuz imagine throwing the ball from a distance to a small object, it is not easy.
So, cricket is not the game of lazy people!
