If I had an opportunity to choose the best team on the earth, these players will be included.....the current best in the cricket world who can exist together at a time.....

1) ADAM GILCHRIST (Keeper) - The best wicket keeper batsman in the world needs no introduction. The power hitter of the ball who hits both good and bad deliveries outside the boundary ropes - this is what Adam Gilchrist is and there is no substitute for this man in the Australian team and in the cricketing world. What can I say about this man? He is just incredible. He will be one of my openers.

2) SANATH JAYASURIYA - The most dangerous opener in the history of One Day cricket is still on the hunt. A tremendous hitter of the cricket ball - this guy is a one man wrecking machine when he gets a good start. He just goes after the bowler in the early periods of the game and disturbs his concentration. He has got the veteran instincts to stay in the crease too. He will my other opener.

3) SAURAV GANGULY (Captain)- The Bengal Tiger, The Lord Off The Off Side - these words define this man better than anything else. Saurav is the best captain of India so far and is the best player on the off side. Nobody plays spinners better than the Indian captain. He has problems while facing bouncers, but his lofted shots straight over the head of the bowlers and his cover drives are just amazing. He will captain my side and also stay at the number three one down slot.

4) SACHIN TENDULKAR - Can there be any team without this man? Nope. No one has got more records than Sachin Tendulkar in any form of cricket. He is called the God of Indian cricket by the fans. He is the leading run scorer and the highest scorer for India in One Days. He makes the shots seem easy when he plays it. He has been a part of the Indian team for a lot of time. He gives India good starts by opening the Innings and steadies the innings during middle overs. A man of definite class!

5) RAHUL DRAVID - Technical soundness and stability is one of the important factors of a batsman?s success. Rahul Dravid has both of them. In the last two years, the presence of Rahul Dravid was felt deeply in the Indian team. He is the most dependable batsman in the Indian team. A wall without cracks! A crack in this wall means a crack in the whole Indian batting line up. He may not be the quickest run maker or a power hitter of the ball. The ability to clear the ropes may be missing. But still this man is a must in the Indian team.

6) BRIAN LARA (Vice Captain)- The name of Brian Charles Lara is in the record books and in each and every cricket fan?s heart. This man is the saviour of West Indies cricket team who lifted the once great team from the ashes with his superb batting and captaincy. When Brian Lara comes to play, one should remember that the records are not safe. It may be broken any time as he hunts down records.

7) JACQUES KALLIS - A genuine cricketer. The pillar on which the South African cricket team stands tall. Jack Kallis plays his natural game and leads the team to a commanding total whenever necessary. He takes singles and doubles and builds up partnerships in middle over and he just breathes fire in the last five or ten overs. He surely is an important part of my team with no doubt.

8) SHAWN POLLOCK - When coming to the bowlers, this man has done a considerable job for deserving this spot. He really is an ideal all rounder with some nice abilities to clear the boundary line. He has more line and length than any one else as he does not rely on pace. The former captain of the South African side can do wonders for his team if he wants to.

9) GLEN MCGRATH - I thought about Brett Lee, but later decided against it as I needed a more stable bowler in my team instead of juat sheer pace. So I choose Glenn McGrath, one of the all time best of the Aussies to open my bowling attack with Shawn Pollock. This may be an effective opening pair, I hope.

10) SHANE WARNE - I need two spinners in my team because Kallis is a good fast bowler and lets mix it up with some turn. Shane Warne is the best option as he is a wonderful spinner who goes after the batsman and challenges tem with his bowling. He shows amazing display of aggression when bowling.

11) MUTTIAH MURALITHARAN - For the last spot, I will go for another spinner, Muttiah Muralitharan, the one who broke the record of maximum wickets in test cricket. He spins the ball quite a lot and just unsteadies the batsmen. He also can entertain us with some funny, but effective shots while batting.

12th man - My substitute player will be YOUSUF YOHANA as he is the class act which saved Pakistan a lots of times. He has been an essential part of the Pakistan middle order of a long time. He plays some classic drives on all sides of the wicket. He can get into the team instead of Jacques Kallis at times.

VIRENDER SEHWAG may also be considered in case, Gilchrist or Jayasuriya gets injured to open.....

I believe that this is a team with some good all-round ability and the talent to give some match winning performances.
