I have been using Cred app since last month to pay my credit card bills. I have 3 credit card one each of SBI, Axis Bank and HDFC bank. However, I mostly use HDFC as that is more rewarding and acceptable.
Recently I did my HDFC credit card bill payment using this CRED app, then only I realise how useful and worthy it was. I made a payment of Rs. 38000(approx) for the month of august using Cred app. My payment got credited to my card in approx 30 mins, however, I was being told that it might take 2-3 working days. After my payment was credited to my card, I received Rs. 38000 cred coins, of which I used 20000 cred coins to get Rs. 35 cashback, which is roughly 0.1% of the payment that I had made.
What else do I need?
Regarding credibility of the app, I would like to mention here that CRED app is started by Freecharge co-founder Kunal Shah, therefore the founder of CRED App had prior experience in handling millions of users, it is safe to assume that the app is completely secure.
Regarding privacy, CRED needs permission to access your email id for reading your statements and hidden charges. However, that is not mandatory.
And lastly, about money, make your transactions/payments at least 3 days before the scheduled date and rest assured, it's safe.
Last words - Itis a members-only app. Only, if your credit score is 750 or higher, you are granted access to the app, So feel privileged and be aware of your score all the time.
