After browsing the net for a good earphone for my ipod and my nokia 5130, I zeroed in on ep630. bought it from lamington road, Mumbai, for 700 in early aug 2010.
MY EXPERIENCE+ ves:
it gives very good output and the immunity to surround noise is great, so much so that with the ipod in full volume you can barely hear your neighbor talk. it even manages to drown the sound of the Mumbai local! that's too much. I fell in instant love with the EP.
its better than ipod earphones. also for 700 bucks, you wont find a better ep.
MY EXPERIENCE - ves:
i dunno if its my misuse or negligence, but the left ear piece is now dead. also the wire connection to the 3mm pin is not as strong as in the case of an ipod earphone, so use carefully, no pulls on the wire.
SUMMARY: buy it.its excellent quality, but you will have to take good care of it. It ain't very rugged.
update(Nov 2012) - The second EP630 that I bought is serving me well, for about 16 months now. no complaints whatsoever, inspite of the tugs and pulls at the wires. conclusion: I love EP630!
update(Nov 2013) - I understand that'creative' products are now not very easily available, heard this from the local store. And BTW, the second EP630 is still serving me well. And once again, I love EP630!
