Freebies are never free for long. Review on Crazyalert

Hi all Mouthshut Friends!

I got the cue of crazyalert.com from a mouthshut review.

Crazyalert.com happened to be one of those God sent sites for ACTUALLY sending free SMS. As far as I know, there is https://sms.ac, that allows one to send JUST ONE SMS per day, and they have no loopholes whatsoever, so its just one SMS.

Then there is ICQ, from where one can send around 15 SMS from one id free, after which they say , you have exhausted your limit-but if you repeatedly keep trying, it does get SEND, besides one can try logging out and logging back in, for a fresh quota of more FREE SMS. The thing with ICQ, though very dependable is that one can send only to selected cellular networks in each city / country of the world, for eg. you can send only to Orange in Mumbai, AIrtel in Bangalore etc.

Crazy alert seemed the perfect solution to all FREE SMS woes- firstly All INDIA- ALL networks can be accessed.

Secondly, There seemed to be no limit on number of sms sent.

One has to register like regular email registration and you need not have a mobile phone yourself (as in sms.as where they send you a confirmation number on your cell- this is to prevent multiple registrations by a single person)

On crazy alert- one can register under several names- no limitation on that either.

Only thing is , you cannot send sms to people out of India and the sms is limited to 100 characters -as the remaining characters are used up in saying ''crazyalert.com for free sms and ur sign in name ''

I recommended this to all my friends, and they still havent stopped thanking me for the TIP ! SOmething FREE on NET that REALLY WORKS!!!!!!1

THE FLIPSIDE:

Now whenever I try sending an sms, more often than not, INSTEAD of the CHEERY MESSAGE ''Message successfully sent'', I get back a message saying :

SERVER BUSY-TRY LATER

OR

THE NUMBER YOU ARE TRYING IS CURRENTLY BUSY- TRY SOME OTHER NUMBERS

SO, I TRIED smsing my own cell, when it WASNT busy, I get the same message ''BUSY''

Now, I have realised ,

''that its a gimmick they are playing,

Saying that now you netter start paying''

just means -sorry-you have had enough for free !!!!!!

But why send false messages-they can just keep a quota and say- SOrry you have crossed your quota of free messages like how ICQ does.

Anyway, so far, their services were very prompt and excellent. Guess, mouthshut .com gave them too much publicity, not to leave out MY OWN GOOD SELF-that now they cant afford giving out so much in FREE.

THE FREE SMS service nearly overshadows their actual service- as the name speaks for itself -CRAZY ALERTS:

I HAVE GIVEN A THREE STAR RATING, BECAUSE THE SERIVE IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE WHEN IT WAS LAUNCHED. Had they kept up the same standard, it definitely deserved 5 stars for the ease of sending free sms to any cellfone in India.
