YEA THE PUNCH LINE SHOULD BE "WE TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE"
I, alongwith my wife, took the Europe Tour of Cox and Kings departing on 7 June 2011 and returned(thank god in one piece) on 21 June 2011. I would like to point out:
1 The Guidance given at the time of booking was zero.
2 Guidance for getting UK Visa was zero.
3 Though the departure date was "fixed" it kept on changing. I did not know that I was really going to go
or not upto the lasrt moment.
4 they take your money two months in advance and forget about you. Suddenly they tell you "you are
going tomorrow."
5 They take lots of signed forms-including BLANK letters(which I gave foolishly and in "Good faith"
Ofcourse therir definition of Good faith doesn't tally with mine. Be careful about what you sign. If you don't want to go on the tour later - say goodbye to a good part of your money.
6 My wife could not walk due to a knee problem and although wheel chairs were available everywhere
the guide didnt bother to tell us.
7 They drop you off at a point and when the time comes to return they make you walk a mile.
8 When we landed in London at 6 am after a 9 hour sleepless flight the guide was nowhere to be seen.
9 We had to hunt for the tour manager - he was outside in the arrival hall. other tour mmanagers had come upto the aircraft gate, to guide passengers on immigration formalities.
10 The tour manager was in the arrival hall but he did not not carry any plarcard or board or sign - we had to dind him ourselves by moving around in the arival hall.
11 When we found him and when we were in the coach - he said our rooms were not ready- they would be ready by 2 pm.
12 So we had to spend 6-8 hours in the bus.roaming around London after a sleepless night.
13 This is a cheap tour and this is how they keep it cheap- by cutting corners and by taking you on rides and by giving you shoddy service
14 So this is best avoided - unless o fcourse if u are in to punishing yourself and .
