Dear friends, Two times I went there. In this connection am happy to share my own experience about Courtallam.
Courtallam is situated in Thirunelveli Dt. in Tamilnadu. The main famous thing is Water falls. You should reach Thirunelveli or Thenkasi through Bus train. But there is no train route for Countralam.
Totally five falls are there. The main falls is called as Honey falls. Water is flowing from the top & gives us chillness. First three falls are for men & other 2 are for women. Excellent & elabarate arrangements made by local Admin people. Police & Home guard are watching people's activities. Secondly Kutralanathar temple is important temple. You must go there also.
According to Accomodation, lot of cottages are availible there. All Major companies are also having company owned guest house. So Hotel & accomodation is good there.
We should go to falls before 06.00 pm. After that it is not advisible. Finally if you went Countralam its gives you sweet memory.
