Couples Retreat by Peter Billingsley
Watched on: Feb 5th, 2010.

The movie’s major attraction to me was A.R. Rahman’s music. Though sorry to say I did not really pay attention to it as I went more in the story, feel bad about it though. So the movie, it was a story of these 4 couples [who are quite different from each other] who opt for this holiday package thinking it’s a fun n blast time but end up in a programme for being a better couple and how to identify and resolve problems between each other. Where they had to wake up early to meet this Monk who would bring about these somewhat weird activities. Followed by a therapist and then they could chose between spas n water activities, etc.
Loved that scene when the little son of one of the couple’s pees n poo-poo’s in the dummy commode. The PPT Presentation was another funny one when one of the couple who actually convinced the rest for this holiday package as they couldn’t themselves afford it if they wouldn’t opt for a mass package.
The story for me is a 1-timer. In the end, I would only say one word: BOOM.
