Beware of Country Club and Country Vacations(CV & CC)!
Fraud.is a small word to describe these scoundrels.
We too have been cheated. There are numerous complaints and legal petitions filed against CV & CC.
We have recorded all phone calls about their false promises. Some of the employees with whom we interacted to resolve our cancellation and refund said that they too are not being paid salaries regularly. We also have a video recording of their employee stating this in their Begumpet, Hyd office.
If you are a victim, here's what you can do -
a) Although their agreement says that the membership amount will not be refunded under any circumstances, there is a clause in the agreement which says we can cancel the member in the cool-off period i.e. 10 days from the date of membership registration. And you can get a refund(less INR 3800 for administration charges)
Send an email to the email given in the agreement about your membership cancellation and refund. Most likely this email will bounce.but still retain the mail delivery failure message.
This does not do any miracles to get your money back. After a 500 emails and 1000 calls you'll get a response that 50% of amount will be refunded after 90days and the remaining after 120days. You can wait for the rest of your life for the refund.
b) If you have paid money thru a credit card, raise a dispute within 30 days [earlier the better]
c) If you cannot do(a) or(b) then talk to a lawyer, seek legal advice, lodge a complaint with Consumer court.
Record all your calls with Country Vacations teams, if possible take a video thru a spy-cam.
