I have got my 80 k back out of 1 lakh and for balance 20 k i am still fighting. The process is like this,
- Pls send them a mail that whatever is promised by cv is not being delivered to you . ---- they usually do not respond to this
I am also enclosing the format of the letter which i had sent to country vacations below :

This is with reference to our Application No DT XXXXXX dated XX th Aug 2012 in the name of Mr. Rahul , we had visited your sale office in Koramangla , Bangalore on XX th Aug 2012 where Mr. Yogananda SC (Manager), Mr. Abdul Sattar and Mr Babjan had attended us and discussed about the membership of Country Vacations. All the three persons discussed the Country Club Vacation Membership facility and benefits and offered us various facilities and packages which found attractive that time and later on when we visited your club at Sarjapur Road/ Mysore Road and enquired about those facilities we found that all such commitments are false and fake and there is no such benefits
as committed to us. Below is the list of services/ products offered and actual status
I can take a holiday for 7 days in a year and they were booked 10- 45 days in advance then I would get a week free, (India or Abroad), Out of the country they have tie ups where I need to pay only taxes for my accommodation which would be 5star or 7 star. For International holidays through RCI exchange program they will charge of Rs 2000-12500 for every week of stay wherever they do not have their properties. – Yet not availed but most of the times whenever enquired dates were not available.
Life long Gold card membership to all the country club resorts and I would be provided a free entry across all their existing clubs and can use all the facilities there, whether it be gym, spa, swimming, games etc. – Totally false, everything is chargeable except for 1 year on Swimming and Gym that too the club for which Country vacations gives a clearance on letter head.
The 14 days can be either used the same year, or carried over to next year, or can be borrowed from next year etc - Yet to be Checked
20-40% discounts on domestic/international airfare and can avail the benefit of residing at any of the country clubs India/abroad for free of cost (free accommodation) and also said that they also offer free sightseeing. - Totally False
I would be provided a free entry across all their existing clubs and can use all the facilities there, whether it be gym, spa, swimming, games etc. – Totally false, everything is chargeable . The cards issued to us are not even given weightage by the representatives there.
Moksha Spa membership which includes 30 ayurvedic massages either for me or any family members absolutely free. - – It is not totally free, you have to shell out Rs 350/- per massage.
Use of party halls in any country club 7 times a year along with cook, vessels, kitchen free with a capacity of 1000 to 2000 people , where for arranging a party I will need to pay only the fooding part rest all will be borne by them. –Nothing available free of cost, you need to pay out for everthing.
The membership can be transferred to some other person or the company itself will sell it through its TAG agents for the market price prevailing at that period for a charge of 5-10% of actual amount. – As per Yogananda this cannot be done.This offer expired as soon as the payment was made.
HDFC Life insurance for 6 Lakh rupees. 3 lakhs for me and 3 lakhs for my wife plus medical insurance of 50k each in case of accidents. - No such insurance received .
10. We have been committed by your staff that one party in a year is allowed free of cost at Country club or affiliated clubs, but no such written confirmation is given to us for the same. – After payment nobody in Country Vacations has ever reverted back on this issue and no such coupons have been sent to us.
I have taken the Country Club membership and paid Rs 1, 00, 000 on the faith that you will provide us all such facilities which you have been offered to us in the meeting by your sales team. However we found that all such commitments given to us during that meeting are incorrect and false. The Main attraction for me is the Vivah Concept in which the sales team committed that in the said membership one party /occasion per year is allowed free of cost which includes the accommodation, furniture and decoration which we found incorrect during our club visit and Life time free membership for Country Club which is also false. It is a duty of the Sales Team to guide the customers not to cheat the customers which is absolutely against the business ethics and code of conduct. I am unable to understand that your sales team is misleading the customers or your sales team.
Your Sales Branch Office is offering absolutely different facilities and benefits which have not been confirmed by neither your customer care nor by your club staff members. I am requesting you to please clarify and inform us about the facilities and benefits of Country Club Membership and Vivah Membership in writing and if there is any discrepancy as we came to know later on then we need our membership fees of Rs one lac to be refunded back as this amount was taken by misguiding us and on false commitments given by your Sales Team.
We are following up with your sales team regularly regarding the above issues but nothing substantial has been come out of it. I am again requesting you to please settle down the issues urgently as committed to us otherwise refund the amount back to us. With Best Regards,

STEP 2 : You need to file a grievance redressal in your credit card bank forwarding your conversation with them . You need a give cv a time span of min 6 -7 days to respond at your first email , if they do not respond within 7 days then send them a reminder also , if they do not respond to that also pls wait for another 6 to 7 days and forward that email with grievance redressal complaint to your bank. For filling in the grievance redressal at your bank , go to their website, download the redressal form, fill it , scan it and email your complaint/also do not forget to send the hard copy of the relevant documents ( do not send the copy of agreement bond if you have signed ) ---- bank take 2 to 3 months but your money comes back. I have got 80 k yesterday itself from hdfc bank.
Now wait for 3 months, hope fully you will succeed.
I will like to tell you guys that this is the best way. I had tried references from ministers, senior police officials, some influential locals etc ran from pillar to post for my money but in the end the way stated above only worked well. Due to these burglars i had many sleepless nights and trauma.
Pls do not fall in their prey and spread this word among your friends and colleagues to be careful.
