This is to inform you that I attended a presentation on18Th April 2010 by Country Club(India) Ltd –MZ-44/45 II Floor Central Stage Mall Sector 18 Noida-201301. The presentation was hosted by Mr.Yogender Singh(Consultant), closed & finalized by Mr. Abhishek Gautam& Gulvendra Singh Chowdhary(Senior Venue Manager).


I was given an offer of Rs.2.65 lacs for Red studio membership with RCI for 30 years. The payment to be settled as follows:




  1. 2.5 lacs to be paid by HSBC Credit Card in 12 EMIs with 0% interest




  2. Rs.15, 000 to be settled by American Express.






They took my HSBC Card details for 2.5 lac to be charged as12 EMIs with 0% However, they frauduntly swept my card for complete Rupees Twolac fifty thousand in single transaction without my knowledge. I neither authorized nor signed any “charge slip” for the complete 2.5 lacs in single debit.


The discrepancy in the transaction existed w.r.t to authorization to CCIL for charging 2.5 lacs in 12 EMI’s at 0% interest as per offer letter, Approval form  & Authorization letter .


Further upon I visited HSBC Branch  & explained the scenario to in Credit card department they further confirmed that HSBC has no tie up with Country Club(claimed by Country Club Manager Mr. Gulvendra SinghChowdhary) and EMI conversion cannot happen from merchant’s end.


Also, when I came home and contacted RCI I found out that they are not affiliated with RCI and RCI is not included in the package. They showed me the RCI booklet with a list of hotels and offered me 30 years of membership in it.


In addition, when I surfed the Internet I was shocked by the reviews. The list of frauds and cheating malpractices by CCIL is enormous.


With the above financial mistrust, breach of contract, fraudulent misuse of my credit card by the merchant i.e Country Club India Ltd, . I request everyone to please not fall into their trap.


To recover the money, I have raised a dispute against the merchant with my credit card company and approached the local police for help. I have also written to All India Resort Development Association. http://www.airda.org.Let us see if the refund happens
