Hello,
I have been a customer of ICICI and HDFC Bank since many years now. I am extremely pleased with the services and facilities provided by your banks. However, the trust I placed in your banks has also caused me a substantial financial loss and suffering.
ICICI and HDFC Bank have been associated with Country Club Hospitality& Holidays Ltd.(formerly known as Country Club(I) Ltd.) since many years now and also provide EMI facilities etc. to the club. The continued association of your bank with such a fraudulent company has led to me and many other loyal bank customers being cheated by this club. Most customers feel content and secure when they realize that ICICI / HDFC Bank deals with Country club; the representatives of the club also proudly proclaim this fact to cheat people. Also, if the bank was not providing EMI facilities to this company, I and most others would not have been in a position to aishwaryasingh23 a lump-sum amount to the club and thereby would have been saved and not fallen in this trap.
I have filed a case in the State Commission against Country Club to help me get a refund of my money. I would like to inform you here that Country Club has in its defense, mentioned in court that they are a reputable organization since reputed banks such as ICICI, HDFC Bank etc. are associated with and have entered into strategic alliances with them. It seems obvious then that ICICI / HDFC Bank should also be made a party in this matter, since inspite of being well aware of the numerous instances of cheating reported to the bank by harassed members of the club, the bank has still failed to distance itself from such a sham company. I have also copied this email to a few of your customers who have complained to you in this regard(a few, mainly HDFC bank customers have also mAnasultanged to get a refund, thanks to the efforts of the bank). If you peruse your records, you can come across numerous cases and complaints relating to this club.
I request you to please look into this matter at the earliest and clarify the position of the bank on the same. There seems an obviously high probability of the bank being dragged into this matter in the near future unless some corrective action is taken.
