Here is the worst in customer service. A sales person called Vaibhav came to sell me the Country Club membership. He was recommended by a friend on a condition that if he convinces me then he will buy the membership. He was a very polite and nice person. Before the meeting I prepared myself and did some research and came upon many reviews on mouthshut.com.
So I had it ready with me so that I could show it to the sales person and ask him why so many people are not happy with doing business with Country Club. He tried to answer me but I think he fell short. In his defence he did say that there is no REFUND policy and it does take 45 days to register the free site. What does he know as he has been told less by his superiors and I'm sure he has been given a target to meet. Well all this went polite and we said bye.
Later in the evening I got a call from a person who said he was the boss of the sales exec who came and wanted to know WHY I ASKED SO MANY QUESTIONS? I told him it is my god-damned RIGHT to ask question. From this point onward the conversation turned to sheer rudeness from the manager guy and of course me too. It is a shame they do not know first thing about selling. If he was polite instead of asking WHY I ASKED QUESTIONS and I dont think they should be in the field of sales or marketing.
I do suspect that they have a quota to meet in the last weeks of the month and I may have been the wrong customer for them. Thanks to mouthshut.com I did my homework and did not fall for this and neither did my friend who was almost ready to buy!!
