Fun game to play when hackers are not ruining it. Review on Counter Strike

The main idea of this game is really simple and even a bit cliche Counter Terrorist vs Terrorist and it is this simplicity that makes this game so addictive Counter Strike 1.6 does not have DLC's, Lootboxes, or in-game purchases. so there are no distractions only you and your team vs the enemy team it sounds simple but it is really difficult to master as the game is extremely tactical that means when you fire a weapon the weapons recoil will affect you accuracy meaning you will have to fire in short controlled bursts and you cannot take much damage in this game even if you are wearing body armor and if you die in the game you don't respawn immediately instead you will respawn after the round is over which makes the game extremely tense and makes you use teamwork and tactics to succeed. This is such a game that will make you come back to it again and again because not only is it addictive but also to become better at it as you will die many times in this game when you are playing it for the first time so you have to be a master at this game and to be a master in this game you really have to practice so I recommend practicing with friends or those who are skilled in this game or just practice with skilled bots which can be downloaded online from sites like gamebanana.com(as CS 1.6 does not come bundled with bots to play with)

The main problem with CS 1.6 is that in recent years the number of hackers online has increased as CS 1.6 is not being under much support from the developers because of the games age(this game was first released in 1999) which means it is very easy for hackers and modders to ruin the games fun and simplicity by cheating and doing whatever they like to the game. What is worse is most of the game's servers that you will connect to are servers with these hackers or modders. It's a real shame what has happened to CS 1.6 now because this game was really a blast to play 10yrs back when not many hackers or modders where around but now the game is a complete mess that is IF you are playing on one of the public servers online because I have an personal experience where I connected to an Indian server where there were nearly 32 players including me all of these players seem to be using some kind of hacks or mods to completely change the rules of the game as I noticed many players could use some kind of cloak that makes them dark and I could not purchase smoke granades for some reason(in the actual game you can purchase smoke granades) also the players whom I was playing with are some of the most unfriendly people I have ever seen as they keep using swear words and swear at each other they even where using insults against me as I was new to this game and they hate new players such newbie players are called noob in their language. After this experience, I don't want to play on public servers anymore and I recommend anyone who wants to play this game to play on a private or LAN server with friends who you can trust won't cheat by using hacks or mods to ruin the game. For anyone else who likes to play on public server play CS GO instead as it has fewer hackers then CS 1.6 and gets regular updates from the developers unlike 1.6

In the end, CS 1.6 is still a good, tactical, challenging game but by playing only with friends on a private server or any other server where hacks or mods are not being used to ruin the authentic classic CS experience.
