Story:

An Indian writer on management style and thinking, made me purchase this book from the station hawker. I had heard Arindam's name through my friend Robby, whom he met at IIPM symposium. He told me that he was good. Robby now lives in Chennai! (Thankfully!!) After reading this book I came to know of the taste difference between Robby and me.

I really wanted to have a young Indians view of the management perspective of India. After 200 pages, I still am searching..!

This book tries to talk about management fundas(general, global and personal), leadership and also drifts on Lord Krishna’s principle. If you in your childhood did not get to catch up on culture, values, history and couple of mythology stories which can be applied in desi management, Voila. You just found yourself a lovely book!

As compared to the other books offered in the market, this one is least original, I have ever seen. This book fails to connect, lacks continuity, trail on the path, which you have read earlier elsewhere. There is no continuity between 2 chapters. The case studies are routine, with no element of interest being generated.

The author has tried to throw light on all the aspects of management. Trust him to do that in 200 pictorial pages with 25 lines in one page, with a 14-font size.

Although I wish Arindam for writing on topic of management at such a young age, but it seemed that that he is in desperate rush to finish off and ends up doing a terrible job.

I would not suggest it to anyone but I am ready to part with my copy, if anybody finds this book interesting. Just SMS me.
