Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch

A Must-Read for All Aspiring Leaders

My entire gratitude to mothshut website and the lady Raguni Sinha for writing a review that made me buy this book. Thanks Ragini, it was great help!

A very good book. I really enjoyed reading this book and I'm impressed by all the examples provided.

Through this inspirational, engaging, informative, and visionary work, the management guru, Prof. Arindam Chaudhuri reveals how understanding the powerful role of few skills (motivation, communication, positive attitude etc.) can set the best leader apart from all the rest. The encouraging news is that great leadership is learnable.

In this book you will learn how the leader has the power to significantly enhance performance of others through his emotional state and actions. You will read about the power of resonance: how you as a leader can inspire others to feel understood and uplifted even during difficult times. Moreover, Prof. Chaudhuri has used the best ever examples to support his viewpoint.

A key message in this excellent management treatise is that of how the leadership styles of Dand, Daam, Saam and Bhed are applied in an individual's life from that of a child to being his adult by his parents. It's a must read.

The author's approach to studying these areas of management is very complete, and his arguments make a lot of sense. Rather than just talking about good individuals, companies etc., he really goes deep into why they are successful, and what lessons can be learned. Put all those theories in perspectives and put them in context of those companies that Prof. Chaudhuri has provided in this book...a lot of amazing discoveries. I bet that these lessons could apply to everyone, from top managers to beginning business workers to entrepreneurs!

This book is unique because it recognizes the value of having passionate thinking and having a right attitude (ASK principle) in the workplace. In addition, the book has wonderfully reflected the current Indian scenario that's ruining it's future.

It is easy to read and full of fascinating information that you can use. The material is presented in ways that will make much of it memorable. I want to begin to apply these principles of great management and leadership in my life.

CYCBTH truly does justice to its title.
