Umm....restaurant...not so much a restaurant....but I think I would call corn club an eating joint. I frequent the ones on DP road, Aundh and the one near my college which is at FC road. The ambience in both places is pretty much the same-nothing extravagant. It's not my kind of 'hangout', although the snacks here are pleasing to the pallette.
The Corn on cobs (apna bhutta!) is way too expensive! 12 bucks for something that you get for 4 bucks! I agree its 'American sweet corn' and all but I still think it's way too steep.
If you do happen to go there, try the Corn Hurda, also called the corn bhel. Its different and nice, but you can't have too much of it...it starts tasting monotonous after some bites. I would strongly recommend the Corn Patti, also called the Corn Samosa and the Corny Franky. They are the best items corn club has offered. Also, if you like cheese, the Baked corn with cheeseis worth a try (although the quantity is too teeny). At DP road, Aundh, they have now started free home delivery (after 4.00 pm) which is very convinient if you have sudden guests, and they also take party orders.
Hey, did I forget to mention the Corn pizza? Its pretty tasty, and too small to get boring! :)
