BLOCK THE BAD RAYS. Review on Coppertone Sun Block

Every one needs to be out in the Sun for about 10 minutes each day to get some natural vitamin D. Coppertone Sunblock SPF 30 Gel, (in the 6-fl oz. or 177-ml. size).

~O THE TUBE O~

This Sunblock comes in a wide silver-blue tube with copper colored cap. Under the large white letters that say ''Gel'' there is a dark purple oval with white writing that tells you that it is a sunblock with SFT 30. There is some black writing and then a bright purple oblong that has white and orange writing on it.

HOW I USE THE SUNSCREEN:

The cap screws off easily. When open the tube I will saw a clear gel. A little dab will go along way. I put a drop or two in my hand and do the bottom half of my leg. Then I used another dab for the upper leg, the same for my other leg, my arms, my chest, neck and face. Once it is on by skin there are no white marks that you get when you use a cream. After I apply it there is not greasy feeling. I can't stand any thing that clogs my pores because I am claustrophobic. It is waterproof so I can go into the pool without it washing off.

This Coppertone Sunblock is Hypoallergenic, uses Parsol, (a special formula that helps to block our the Sun's UVA rays), that may help to stop you from skin damage and some types of skin cancer. From the tube: ''1) Active Ingredients: Avobenzone (Parsol 1789), Octocrylene, Octyl Salicylate and Oxybenzone. 2) Inactive Ingredients: SD Alcohol 40 (77.6% V/V), C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Acrylates/Octylacrylamide Copolymer, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, PEG-40 Sorbitan Peroleate, Fragrance, Tocopherol, (vitamin E) and Aloe Barbadensis Extract. 3) Adults and Children over the age of 2 years old: Apply to all exposed areas before sun or water exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or 3 hours if you are not swimming. 4) Children under 2 years of age should use sunscreen products with a minimum SPF of 4. 5) For Children less than 6 months of age please consult your Doctor. 6) It is Flammable so please do not ally it when you are near heat, flame or while smoking.'' I found that it has stained a few of my light colored bathing suits. I also put it in my Fridge when I am not using it as it lasts longer. On the tube it reads:

''Avoid long term storage above 40°C or 104°F''.
