Hi All! Forgot to mention this.
Those who are visiting Brahmagiri Hills near Tala Cauvery, if you are on the hill in the evening around 6.30 pm or so, do look towards the south. You get to see the tip of the arabian sea. You can also see the lights of the ships passing. It looks distant but if you watch properly you can see them. That is if the sky is clear and there is no mist.
There is also a small type of formation on the Hill where there is a spring and water is always there. I went there earlier for two summers and found water there. You may have to look for this formation on the top of the hill.

In rainy season, go to Hardoor River. That is near Suntikoppa. You can reach there when you leave Madikeri [Mercara] and take Kushalnagar route. Suntikoppa comes on the way and you can take a deviation from there and visit Hardoor. There are two bridges built one beside the next. One is built on a lower plain and the other a bit elevated. When it rains and after, the lower bridge is completed covered with the flow of water. My cousins house is situated just near to the bridge. Infact she has a home stay there & she prepares good Wine, Chatney & Pickle.
Fish lovers [I mean those who love to eat fish] you get some excellent quality fish in the river. Try the Catla fish. It is rich.
