Stay at heavenlystay-kotagiri. Review on Coonoor

We three ladies went to kotagiri from Mettur, by a car(self drive) to drop my daughter  in Jude’s school and to visit residential schools, as my friend wants to put her daughter here. We dropped my daughter but we were not able to visit the schools as it was already late, time was nearly 7pm so we planned to stay in my friend’s house.

We went there but her family was out of station, we did n’t know want do to, also we can’t drive back.

My  friend told us to go to homestay –Heavenlystay-Family retreat.We were very much confused and worried, but anyhow we had to go there for night stay.

We contacted them and went there.We got a warm welcome by the owner of the home stay.The house was very clean.We had a nice dinner. We were totally relaxed We sat in balcony till 11’o clock and enjoyed mild cold with nice tea. One of my friend wanted to go for a long walk next morning, she asked help from the owner, she guided her from there to donbosco

My friend started by 6’o clock she went for a long walk, she enjoyed it vey much.

After breakfast we went to Jude, s and Riverside schools.In both schools they responded well and showed classrooms, hostel, dining hall etc. and cleared all our doubts.

We came back to our home away form home- Heavenlystay.Our lunch was ready, but time was only 12.30pm.We planned to go to kodanad view point.So we packed our lunch and we asked homestay owner to join us.She also joined with us.

Way to kodanad view point is very beautiful.Small ups and down, small jungle, ex-cm’s tea estate, we stopped in many places to look at th e views and finally reached view point, but our bad luck there was no view due to cloudsWe had our lunch.Cloud was slowly moving here and there like kidding.It was fantastic but for full view we have to come back again.

My daughter was studying here for the past two years, usually we came to drop or pick her.Unforgetttable experience.Heavenly stay very nice and safe place especially for familes and lady travelers.
