Coolpad Note 3 is a sub-10k smartphone. On paper, it seems like a total value for money product with 5.5-inch full HD display, 3GB RAM, 13MP camera and support for 4G.
Design : Note 3 sports a very simple design as with other note 3 smartphones with rounded edges and a chrome ring around the display. On the front, it has a large 5.5-inch display with broad bezel above and below it, which makes it a big footprint device. The power button is on right and volume rocker button is on left side.The top has a 3.5mm jack and bottom has a microUSB port and mic. On back it has a rear camera with LED flash. Below the camera, you will also find the fingerprint scanner and bottom back sports the speaker. The device is very large to operate with one hand and it feels very plasticky despite the company claims a metal frame inside.
Display : The Coolpad note 3 comes with a large 5.5inch full HD. The display is quite good not the best.
Camera : The device comes with 13MP rear and 8MP front set of cameras. The rear done its duty well in outdoor in well lit conditions. The colour comes out natural. But the story changes when you move in low lighting, the pictures comes out very grainy and noisy. The front is good for selfies and come with a beauty mode.
Performance : The device is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with whopping 3GB RAM. It has 16GB onboard storage, out of which 7.7GB is available for users. Storage can be increased to 64GB via microSD card. It handles daily task quite efficiently. Tge performance of the device is little low as compare to coolpad note 3 as it sports a fullHd display.
Software : It comes with Android Lollipop with a layer of CoolUI which is very sleek and vivid. The UI has some nifty features and works really well.
Features: It has a dual sim smartphone but you have to compromise on used sim slot as a sim or as a microSD card. It is also 4G enabled device. And comes with usual set of features. The fingerprint scanner on the back works well. It has usual connectivity and usual features as others inthe segment.
Battery : It is backed up by a 3000mAh battery. It offers a good battery and can last for a day.
Verdict : Coolpad Note 3 Plus is a good smartphone which now comes with a Full HD display. But a full HD display give a toll to performance and battery life. You better save some money and get the lower variant Coolpad Note 3 smartphone with HD display and identical set of features.
