Coolpad is a Chineese Multinational Company which recently published Coolpad Note 3 Lite which is the succesor of Coolpad Note 3.
I bought this phone looking at the price point and the specs they are giving.
I bought this phone via Amazon for 6999 and recieved it the next day. The box was pretty nice white box with coolpad branding on front.The box contained some pamplets, earphones, the handset and the charger. The initial impressions were great, it looked like a premium device.
The Built and Design- The phone has a golden accent all around the device.
At the back we have a fingerprint scanner, camera with flash and a secondry mic on top of camera.The back is also grippy. On the sides there are volume rockers and the power button.On the top we have the headphone jack and on bottom we get charging port and primary mic hole. On the fron we have the 5 inch HD display with 3 capacitive buttons. The back is removable but the battery is non renewable.It has 2 sim slots(micro sim) and a micro sd card slot too.
Display- This phone has HD display which is excellent at the price point. It is a very good display with bright colours. It has got nice colour reproduction, nice contrast and great viewing angles. Video viewing is also great on this phone.
Speaker- It has got single speaker at the bottom which is pretty loud considering the price point.
Camera- At the rear it has a 13MP camera eith dual tone LED flash and auto focus. The front facing camera is a 5mp camera. The rear camera is great in my opinion but the front facing camera is just Ok in my opinion.
Software- This is the first phone under 10000 which has a 3 Gb of ram and 16Gb of internal storage. It has a quadcore CPU clocked at 1.3Ghz processor. The proccesor is a Mediatek 6735SOC. On the Antutu it gave a score of 27000 which is good considering the price point.
Gaming- I was surprised by the gaming on this phone, inspite of not having a powerful procesor the gaming is flawless, without any lags. We played heavy games like Asphalt 8, moderncombat 5, deadtrigger, etc. There were small slutters which could be unnoticable.
Battery Life- This phone has a 2500 MAH battery which can easily last for a day with normal usage.
Call Quality- I didnot face any issues regarding the call quality of this phone. It was clear for person who is talking and for the one who is listening.
It has Android lollipop with Cool ui running on it.
We can move apps to sd card. There are premium features like split screen(multitasking) which are present only on some flagship devices.
The'c button' is also nice feature to use.
The finger print scanner works great and to have feature like this in a budget phone is really great.
So atlast, I will conclude that by saynig if your budget is low but want premium features you should go with Coolpad Note 3 Lite.
