Chinese smartphone maker Are dominating the Indian market these days.CoolPad is one of the name that has been quite famous and entered Indian market and raised the bar with Coolpad Note 3, which was the first sub Rs 10, 000 smartphone in India with a fingerprint sensor. That is not exactly the case with the cool pad max.The company decided to launch the smartphone at 25000.I don't know what was thinking behind the pricing.
Coming the phone, it is not something for which you can decide to pay 25000 easily. It does not have any thing such classy for this price range.why would you not go for Mi 5 which is far above in features and performance from this phone?
Packed with the Snapdragon 617 SoC, don't expect it to give you performance like 801 Soc.When it comes to use, the Snapdragon 617 SoC the smartphone suffers from frequent lags and hiccups and the day to day performance is just not as smooth as you would like.Having a 4 GB ram is not enough it it does not put to a wise use here in the phone the keyboard lags a lot, and the RAM management is extremely poor. With just a few applications open, the available RAM drops to about 500 MB.The camera is good but the for price you are paying this is not a wise deal. The custom UI also didn't performed up to the mark, the interface thus lacks polish and feels unfinished and the overall experience is not user friendly.
Coming to the Verdict, if the phone would have been wisely priced I would just think about it but now you should definitely stay away and go for the other good options like Moto g4 plus, lenovo zuk z1, mi5 etc.
