I bought this Coolpad note 3 mobile on first flash sale. After using it for more than a week & four battery charge cycles, I write this review. The most talked about fingerprint sensor of this phone is its USP. Works great & blinking fast. The 1.3GHz Mediatek octo-core processor with MaliT720 MP3 graphics core and 3GB Ram keeps the phone running butter smooth with multiple apps & moderately heavy games.
The Design is acceptable & display is really good for a 720p screen with 178 degree viewing angle. The Rear camera shoots very good photos in bright sunlight. But I didn't like the pictures taken at night due to noise & pixelation. The front camera is really awesome for a 5MP shooter. Both rear & front cameras focus faster than other mobiles in this price range. Wifi detection, gps lock are fast. Bluetooth, FM radio, Proximity sensor, accelerometer, compass, Led notification works fine. Coming to sound & call quality, the phone handles well. The bundled earphone performs good with this phone. Sound via speaker is acceptably loud. The 3000mAh battery keeps the phone up for more than 1 and half days with moderate usage. The C button & multi-task mode is useful at times.
Once you receive the phone, I'll recommend to remove the big coolstore widget & use google keyboard by default instead of Xploree keyboard provided by Coolpad.
Also, on this day of Nov 3, 2015, Coolpad has provided update for this phone(V019). I updated the phone & found that the rear camera has improved slightly, coolui music & video apps perform better. They added fixes for LED notification to widely used third party apps also.
