Concorde motors is a subsidiary of Tata Motors so this review is not only for concorde motors Chennai but also for Tata Motors. There is a strong nexus between these people to sell their vehicles at higher price
I wanted to buy a Tata Safari from Concorde Motors Chennai. But to my utter surprise the prices of the vehicle was not available with the dealer. This went on for almost a month because the prices were reduced by Tata Motors and the dealer never wanted to sell the vehicle at lower cost. Finally when the prices were made available, the dealer informed me that there is a waiting period of 25-50 days and the final price to be paid by me will be the actual price at the time of delivery. The dealer also told me that the prices are like to increase very soon. I booked the vehicle on the very first day when the price was available still I was told to be ready to pay higher price. Readers can draw their own conclusions.
Its been 21 days already over of my booking the vehicle, I am still waiting. On contacting the dealer/ Tata Motors, the perpetual answer will be " Sir, I will find out and give you a call" and no call / contact thereafter.
I have written 04 emails to Tata Motors and spoken to a lot of people at their office at Pune, Bombay, but of no use. Nobody is responsible enough to take care of the grievances of customer. Tata's website and portal brags a lot of good thing about customer support but only for paper work.
Finally, I would like to uprise the readers that in this recession if Tata Motors take 50 Days of waiting period to deliver the vehicle then I am not surprised that you see MARUTIs, HYUNDAIs and TOYOTAS all around. Just beware of Tata Motors and Concorde Motors.
