This is complaint given to the CEO - Rajeev Kapoor, CEO of Fiat Automobiles India


Complaint Details:-


Day-1


I called the Concorde Motors on 5th of May to find out the details of the Punto car, I got prompt response and one sales Agent by name: Madhusudhan attended my call and briefed about the Car price. I told him to come and meet me in my office along with the Special offer details and Finance details also. But he failed to come on that day and once again I called and asked to visit my office to test drive the Punto. He finally came on May 10th Monday and given the car for test drive but failed to give the finance details. Regarding the offer he briefed that there is upto 50, 000 offer currently going on and additionally there is a 10, 000 corporate discount if I book the car before 31 May 2010.


Day-11


In between I contacted the finance guy on my own and found the details and the required documents. I only called Madhusudhan to collect the booking amount cheque after block one Punto Car on my name. He came to collect the cheque and never informed about the documents required for registration.


After that Madhusudhan is not in contact and no response upto 15 days, I myself contacted Mr Hemanth Kumar(Area Sales Manager of Concorde Motors) and briefed about the situation and he promised me that he will speak with Madhusudhan.


Day-27


No one clarified about the special offer clearly and even Hemanth asked me 4 days of time to clear my query on the price shown in the Tax invoice less than the Ex-showroom price. It took me another 2 weeks to get clarification. I went for a car loan with ICICI bank and even I paid 1, 00, 000/- in cheque to Concorde Motors and agreed to pay the balance amount at the time of delivery.


Day-45


No one from the concorde motors followed up about when the car will be delivered. I called 100 times to the sales people to find out the details, even Madhusudhan was not in contact and neglected my calls too. Regarding this I spoken with Deepak, Sundeep and Hemanth from Sales team but the problem was not rectified.


I came to know that my ICICI Car loan was approved and the DD is given to Concorde Motors(Dairy Circle) on 17th of June, but Madhusudhan told that they haven't received any DD and will take another 4 days. I contaced the ICICi finance guys and clarified the same. After hectic process I have received a call from Madhusudhan that they are ready to deliver my car on 21st June 2010 after paying the balance amount. They still havent cleared the query on the extra price imposed.


I am very happy that I am becoming a owner of the brand new Punto but the incident took at the time of Delivery made me unhappy and got very much angry on the people of Concorde Motors. Below is that summary.


Day 47


Mr Madhusudhan confirmed the time of delivery on 21st June 2010 by 6:30PM as the vehicle went for completing the Registration Formalities with RTO, I am very eager to drive my Punto. Almost 3 and Half hours waited in the Concorde Motors but Madhusudhan is not present there in office. Mr Deepak came and cleared the query of Price difference and initiated the process of delivering the vehicle. I paid the balance amount and received a temp receipt. I got all the documents and done some Pooja for the car and stepped in the car to drive the vehicle by 10:00PM, then suddenly Mr Deepak stopped the car and rejected to delivery the car. I asked why? then he simply answered that the Car is not yet registered with the RTO. You can understand the process followed by these Concorde Motors people. I got angry and told him to cancel the car in that moment, and Deepak pleased to send a driver along with me to drop me up and to get the car back to the showroom. By 11:30 PM the driver dropped me at my home and took the vehicle back and promised me that they deliver the vehicle on Tuesday 22, 2010, but they failed to deliver on the promised date. Finally they delivered the vehicle by driver Umesh on 23rd June 2010.


The vehicle is delivered in the night at 11:00 PM with full of scratches on Back lamps, on body and without car wash, and there is a discrepancy on the information printed on the RTO Challan receipt and on Insurance document.


Day 52:


My brother suggested that its better to apply the Paint Protecter(TF coating) to void all the scratches on the body, so I called one of the best service provider and done the same. Now the car looks as a new car with good looks


Day 71


Suddenly the car AC stopped of working and I immediately called the Service Helpline number 98440 07484 and informed my problem and asked about any booking & Drop, Pickup facility is available, but he said there is no such facility and I need to drove back the car to the service center.


Day 72


Yesterday 15-July-2010, I went to the service center to give the car for to minor repairs, after a hour one guy came and inspected the car and found that there is no GAS in the AC unit and to be re-filled. I noticed few other problems like Brake sound, rear suspension noice, beading came out. The people are not ready to take the car and ask me to come on the next day. So again I called Hemanth from sales team and got the reference of Ratish(Service Manager) to talk with. He advised the service people to book the car for repair. So Sharma from Service department booked the car and Rajesh(Mechanic) done the service. At the time of giving for service there are not even a single scratch on the body of the car and the same is written on the Job card.


I asked Sharma how much time it will take to finish the minor repairs, he told that he will call and inform me once he found a place in the service center to keep my car for servicing. I called once, twice and thrice by 1:30Pm and still getting there is no space in the service center. Again I followed up with Deepak to delivery the car to my office once the service is done.


By 8:30 my car is delivered to my office location by Umesh(Driver) and shocked after finding lot number of scratches on the whole body and immediately called Sharma and Hemanth in presence of Umesh and informed about the scratches. They both asked me Half day time to find out who done the scratches.
