I have done 2 services of my Tata Indigo TDI in Concorde dairy circle Bangalore. What I found is that they overcharge customers but the condition of the car is good after the service.First service was a regular paid service at 40, 000 kms. They changed engine oil, gear oil, coolant. The bill came to Rs 12500. I had expected a bill of Rs 6000 or at the max Rs 8000 as I had expected an oil change. After running for 2000 kms the car developed a stalling issue and I took it to them. The service adviser increased the RPM and sent me back. I thought that they are not willing to take it and went to K.H.T motors.
I spent Rs 7000 for changing clutch and at K.H.T they adjusted fuel injection pump timing wrongly and I felt reduced pick up. I had gone to K.H.T motors again and told them that there is a problem with the timing adjustment. They made me wait and gave back the car saying that timing adjustment has been done. I did not notice a great change in pick up. I wasted my time with them.I drove another 2000 kms with this problem and again booked a service with Concorde. I told the service advisor that pick up is low. He wrote a list of checks to be done for setting it right although the obvious reason was fuel injection pump timing adjustment. He gave an estimate of Rs 4950. I could not say anything as otherwise the car will not be taken for repair. Fuel pump timing adjustment costs Rs 650.
I paid Rs 4865 and took the car. I could see a good change in the pickup and the car felt better. At concorde they fleece customers who bring their car for paid service. But the service quality is good and there are no oil leaks or things which will make you take the car back to service center. Another thing is that they do not have space to accomodate cars at the dairy circle center and it will be a big head ache if there is any problem after service.
