The Comedy Circusis a very famous reality show based on comedy, which is a very popular show from the very first season. It is based on Stand Up Comedyperformances. Before Comedy Circus there was a show Laughter Challengebased on Stand Up Comedy. That was also a successful show but Comedy Circusmakes a record in making a continuous series. Now a day Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daurwas going on which was a series of 44 episodes. The show telecasted on SonyTV from 9 pm to 10 pm on Saturday & Sunday.
The good thing about Naya Daurseries is that they give a chance to other struggling comedians like Vishakha, Suri and Mantra.And they also prove that they are quite good & can do much better.
Plot:
As the name of the show suggests, it is based on Comedy. This is the only Comedy program, which is famous & known to all. In this show, TV celebrities perform with a professional comedian as a Jodi. They have to perform on the given scripts and different situations.
Host:
Well, The host of this show is always a girl (With short dresses… :P) and the performing Jodi’salways makes fun of her…lol. Purbi Joshi, Shruti Seth, Shweta Tiwariwere the previous hosts of this show but in this season Roshni Chopra (like Donald Duck…:P)was the host of the show.
Contestant:
Well, we can never hope a reality show without good contestants. Each & every contestant of the show is remarkable. But there are some contestants without whom this show would never become a hit.
Kapil Sharma (From Punjab) is like a main pillar of the show. Every line he speaks; becomes a Punch. His style of comedy is so good that in just 3 seasons he became the best & favorite of all. He is the best in his style of comedy. And his partner Shweta Tiwarialso proved that she is a damn good actress.
Sudesh Lahri (Also from Punjab)is another gem of this show. He was present in previous series also & loved by all with his superb performance every time. He has also worked in ReadyMovie. And his partner Krishanais a versatile actor. He always performs in a different way that everyone likes. And because of his talent he is now working in a Rohit Shetty’smovie Bol Bachchan…Jiska set Jaipur mein laga hai aur jisme Archana jine bhi acha kaam kiya hai …:D
Rajiv Thakur (Again from Pujab)is also a very good comedian (But unfortunately he always goes out of the show just before the Grand Finale…:P). He never won the show but he wins the heart of a lot of people & judges by his good performance. And his partner Sugandhais also very good. She is basically a good singer but her talent of comedy can’t be ignored.
Bharti (Punjabi Again)is the first female contestant in a comedy show. She is damn good in comedy & sometimes when she acts like a child, she looks very cute & charming. And her partner Siddharth Jadavis just opposite of Bharti. Bharti is cute but Siddharth is scary…:P ….just kidding. But his comedy skills are very good.
RJ Mantra & Vishakha was a new Jodiin this season. And they were also doing well. They did a commendable job in their first time in a comedy show.
Some other Jodi’s like Suri & Mahi Vijand Ather Habib & Priya Rainaalso did their job very well but they were eliminated in the early days of the show.
Judges:
Archana Puran Singhis like the soul of this show. She is a permanent judge of this show. She becomes the Lady Laughing Budhain India because of this show. She is famous because of her style of laughing. …Haahaahaa…Mindddd Blowing…:DAnd for the manly jokes on him…Sorry...Her…:D. In short if we can’t imagine KBC without Amit ji…the same way…we can’t imagine Comedy Circus without her.
Sohail Khaanwas another new judge this time of this show. He did promise to the contestants that who so ever would win the show; he will give a chance to them in his next movie. He was nice as a judge and always appreciated the contestants.
Winners:
Well, once again Kapil Sharmaand his partner Shweta Tiwarihave won the show. They perform their best and come as a winner. I wish All the Best to them for their future film with Sohail Khan (Agar ban gayi toh...lol..:P)
My Verdict:
No doubt that it is a very good show for some laugh when we are in tension. I think in a hard time when anyone would watch this show…at least it would give a smile on the face. However it is losing its charm now a day but still it’s a worth watch show for some good laughter. Waiting for the next new series of Comedy Circus...:)
