I had my son delivered at Columbia Asia, Hebbal on the 13th of Oct 2009. My Gyn was Dr.Poornima Ramesh. She is a very good doctor and am totally satisfied with her. The best part about her is that she takes time out to speak to patients and explain the condition to them.
And it is so NOT TRUE that she is more for C- section. There were 2 other patients of hers in labor at the same time as mine, and both of them had normal deliveries. Unfortunately, conditions were such that she HAD to go for a C-sec in my case :(
About Columbia Asia, Hebbal.... the hospital is pretty good. But quite small and always crowded. The rooms are very tiny, except the single suites... But the single suites are almost impossible to get! the duty doctors and nurses were pretty good.... no complaints as such. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. A thumbs up to Dr.Poornima Ramesh and Columbia Asia, hebbal-Bangalore
