The close proximity was the primary reason for choosing Colombia Asia.
What to expect? (when you're expecting or not)
Bags will be screened by a security guard at the entrance. A parking attendant politely issues a parking token. [I was told the first 10 minutes are free on my first visit. This had changed when I visited a week later and there is a standing charge and no 10 minute waiver.]
Your 'consultant' doctor will charge a fee (of Rs 500) for every visit, even if you have to show her reports and also for visits which don't last more than 1 minute and 39 seconds. I was told by the cashier that this is to the discretion of the 'consultant' doctor. A battery of tests are ordered and the attendant there seems lost in her own personal travails. You'll end up unattended esp if there is a change of shifts.
Collecting your reports:
They don't set the right expectation and neither keep it up. You'll be told that you can expect a few reports within 24 hours and a few others in the next 48 hours. Presto - you get the initial set of reports within 24 hours.
You go back again again after 48 hours and are given the same reports which you were provided earlier and are told this is the complete set of reports. [You only realize they've not provided you all the reports when you visit your 'consultant' again because she sees it on her computer.
Nurses don't have a clue and appear like novices. I'd like to see how they respond to an emergency.
