This is Rohitha. I had delivered a baby boy on the 9th of October, 2009 at 'Columbia Asia hospital, Hebbal'. It was a normal delivery. I had been consulting Dr. Chitralekha (gynecologist). My entire experience at the hospital n with the doctor was very satisfactory. Dr.Chitra always insists for a normal vaginal delivery. She had suggested me a lot of exercises during my pregnancy. Her behavior may initially upset you but believe me... she made a painless normal delivery possible for me. She had suggested for an epidural during labor and that had speed en the entire process and it was painless. Dr.Chitra allowed my hubby to stay with me inside the labor room, as long as I was there. That was a great boost for my moral support. Thanks to her for this.
Coming to the staff that attended me.... from the day I got admitted there... everybody was very friendly and ready to attend for every little thing at any odd time. The attitude of the staff and the well maintained and hygienic environment made my stay at the hospital a totally comfortable one.
The food service was also prompt. For a 3 days stay we had shelled out around 30k which was same as what would have cost in any major hospital. I truly recommend this hospital and Dr.chita for any pregnant women.
