Skin so soft you want 'others' to melt into it...m

The First time I used this product was 4 years ago...I simply fell in love with the sweet almost vanilla like fragrance and the sensual way it just melted into my skin. What prompted me to start using this product, apart from the countless ads in beauty magazines was actually an Afro-carribean friend of mine who had terribly dry skin. She not only considered it as a beauty aid but also as a soothing tonic for when her skin was feeling a little undernourished and a magical potion that did wonders for her self esteem. You might be thinking, 'hmm, how is that possible?' but I'm sure you'll agree that without me sounding a little shallow, our outward appearences can greatly influence our self confidence.

Anyway I bought myself a couple of bottles and massaged it into the skin twice a day for about a month and put it this way, not only did my skin look more supple and feel more silky, I think I can safely say that it sparkled! There was no more worrying about unsightly dry knees or elbows, just skin that looked and felt nourished and not mentioning that it smelt divine.

But dear Readers, please take into account the brand I am referring to is called 'Palmers Cocoa Butter lotion with Vitamin E', I have tried other brands such as 'Body shop Cocoa Butter' and St Ives Formula, but I personally was not as impressed. This of course is not a bad thing, it all really depends on personal preference. As I have dry skin I prefer a richer, more nourishing formula, while someone with more normal - oily skin might prefer a lighter formula.

All Brands vary not only in richness and fragrance but also in consistancy (oh and not to mention price). But all in all the main ingredient 'Cocoa butter' definately gets a thumbs up from me and my friends in the moisturising department. (mmm..and not to mention in the massage department too!)

There would actually just be one more thing that I'd like to add. Cocoa butter has a very distinctive fragrance. To me, it smells....like sweet vanilla flavoured chocolate (but I suppose that's just my nose speaking). Nowadays ofcourse I use it quite sparingly because I have found that while it might be turning certain hot blooded creatures on, It may also be repulsing others. There was an instance when I went into work one day and one of my collegues was convinced he could smell chocolate (milky bar to be exact!). After alot of sniffing about he came to the conclusion it was me (don't worry gals, he wasn't trying it on, he was actually gay), but you see I had become so accustomed to the smell that I just couldn't smell it on myself. This just shows how many different ways a fragrance will be percieved by a)different noses and b)on different bodies. It might be Musky vanilla to one yet almost sickeningly sweet to another.

Now girls (and guys I suppose, I won't be sexist) the question that stands is 'Is it your thing to be walking around like a sweet smelling candy bar, sensual enough to melt?'
