Always coca cola. Review on Coca Cola

I guess reviews on Coca Cola have been done to death. But as long as I can remember i've been a coke loyalist and I feel obliged to step in with my views.

I remember, being an awestruck junior in school. My friends and I would stare in admiration at the seniors , swaggering in & out of the school cafeteria, looking ever so ''cool'' with their trendy jackets and pierced ears ! Invariably they would have a coke can in their hands. Not surprising , that in the world of ten year olds I belonged to then, drinking coca cola was THE thing to do !

Well I have come quite a long way since then , and I still drink coke. But not because the most popular boy around does the same . Not anymore that is.

So WHY do I drink coke then ? Well, lets see, coke tastes good, just the perfect cola taste, and not too sweet like most of its cola counterparts, its more refreshing in my opinion.

My mom for one cant really understand why pepsi wont do, when im buying a soda. According to her , a cola is a cola,whether it comes in a red can or a blue one. But hey, you dont have to be a great cola connoisseur, to appreciate the difference between coke and others. Coke is simply superior ! As simple as that.

Yeah I know, I know, all that caffeine and carbonated stuff is not exactly what a dietician would recommend. But hey can u think of anything more appealing than a tall glass of coca cola on the rocks when you're just back from a hot and sultry day out? (of course this doesnt include beer ).

Ive always personally felt that coke is more attractively packaged.The distinct red can with the coke bottle logo is much more eye catching than other colas.

Maybe one area where coca cola does fall behind its arch rival Pepsi, is in the advertising campaigns. Pepsi has always managed to sign up huge celebrities, while coke ads generally focus on youth just having a good time drinking coca cola ( india being an exception where of late coca cola has roped in popular movie stars, possibly to counter the mega multi starrer pepsi ads! ).

But all said and done, Coke to me is still the number one soda. and nothing sums it up better than coke's evergreen slogan....ALWAYS COCA COLA !!!!
