Rumour seems to be spreading about Coke cans somehow infected with rat urine and drinkers affected with Leptospira. This review intends to put this urban legend to rest.

The rumour is not only false and wrong but emails used in spreading this canard are being used as spam as well as spreading viruses.

The email is pretty standard as far as spreading rumours is concerned with the format

''A woman went boating in <enter important city here> taking a few cans of Coke with her ...... She became infected with Leptospira <more disease description here> ...... Be careful of drinking Coke !....'' or something to that effect.

A simple google search of ''Leptospira Coke'' will bring up the expected 10000 pages refuting this urban legend.
