Clue Has A Puzzle Too!. Review on Clue

I love the original Clue game, but I also extremely enjoy the Clue Mystery Puzzle “Garden of Evil.”

We bought this as an additional family gift a few years back. My son and I put the puzzle together and solved the mystery together. This puzzle is extremely challenging and we had a blast working on the puzzle to try to solve the mystery. The picture on the box is not the actual puzzle, which adds an extra complication to the whole effort.

The puzzle you complete by trial and error with no picture of what the solution will be. The puzzle is accompanied by a short story that you read to gain insight into what th puzzle may be.

The puzzle is based on the six characters of the original board game, Clue. When you add the twist of reading the mystery book, putting together the puzzle and using the magnifying class to try to determine what it is you are trying to find in the completed puzzle, it will keep you busy for more than a few minutes.

The ages on this indicate 12 to adult, but I will tell you myself and a seventeen-year-old had our work cut out for us. This was not a simple put it together and be done with it puzzle! I recommend your family try this one out, if you enjoy puzzles and would like to take on a challenge based on the original board game, Clue, check with your local toy dealer. For the eight dollars we paid for it, we will continue to enjoy this one and pass it down to cousins, etc.

Unfortunately, this is the only puzzle of this type that I have found made by Clue. I have discovered some equally challenging ones but not made by this company. Hopefully, they will continue to produce them.
