I visited Club Mahindra Holidays outlet in RCity mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai yesterday after I received a call from their tele-marketing team that I've been chosen for 2D-3N free voucher. Since I was anyway going to the mall, I accepted to visit their outlet.
I was asked to fill up a form with all my personal details to which I refused and asked for a "45 Minutes" presentation (which they said I will have to go through to receive the voucher). After much reluctance they started the presentation without me filling up the form.
The entire thing looked so fishy and their marketing/ sales representatives were so intimidating and un-professional.
After an hour of presentation they asked me to wait for some time so that their Senior Manager can come and explain the fees and other details. While I was waiting I quickly browsed through mouthshut.com for the reviews. And I would like to thank all of you for the reviews as they matched my opinion as well. All of your reviews were helpful for me in taking a quick and right decision.
When I told the Senior Manager that I can't buy this "Today" (which was the last day of the offer) then she just left the seat and asked her junior to take it forward. When I asked for my 2D-3N voucher then they said I'll get that on my email ID, to which I said that I was told that I will get the voucher there and then.
After much of the insistence he went to check on the system and cooked up a story that their system is down and hence they can't give vouchers. I shouted at then as by then I had wasted my 2 hours and I am really surprised that group like Mahindra & Mahindra is playing with their credibility like this!!! It was really a VERY BAD experience and if Mr. Anand Mahindra is listening then "PLEASE STOP THIS CHEATING SHOP".
BEWARE GUYS OF THE MARKETING CALLS that you may receive.
