Club Mahindra Gurgaon DT Mega Mall harassment

I was invited as a winner for a 2N/3D package by Club Mahindra @ the DT Mega Mall, Gurgaon office. I was told that even if I did not take a membership, I was still entitled for a 2N/3D package as mentioned earlier. After a discussion, I took the membership.


Then when I asked for my voucher I was entitled to, I was told that it had been merged with my package.! I hastily made the decision to cancel my membership.


I called the branch manager within 2 hours and told him that I needed to cancel my membership. He said that I needed to give him a letter stating the same. The letter was handed over to him the very next day, 10th March 2008, and I was told that it would take 45 days for the 100% refund to come in. I still haven't received my refund of Rs. 19, 768. Above all this, I was told that the cancellation request was made on 29th March.


This is a big scam and all that they are doing is to meet their numbers and harass the public.


Please do not fall in this trap as all the customer support team can help you with is by sending automated responses saying that they are sorry. I have a good mind to go and file a case with the consumer court.
