I am clubMahindra member and regret for being one.Every time some of my friend ask me whether they should too become a member which I always say'No'.
In India, once you are tied up with one, you are taken for a ride. This is what has been happening always. Now a days, on spot offers are much more attractive than club memberships.
Before Buying I was told by my sales agent that I can pull days from next year in case of short. Reality: You need to make payment for next year ASF even if your ASF dues is 10 months away. It means you can enjoy your holidays only when you clear next ASF and your hard earned money of 4-5 Lacs given to them does not carry any value.
Not only this, they will not block a holiday even if you agree to clear ASF in next 2-3 days. They will say if you delay, you may not be able to book your holidays.
If you get a call from Call centre girl- Soumya, You are damned.She is on fly always and does not even know how to talk. Avoid her and ask someone else to call.
All I could say is that your holiday booking is at their mercy. .Guys, lets not allow any one to control your desires and holidays.You are always being controlled by employers and govt.not this atleast.
