It is my suggestion, never become member to any of such time share company. You will find yourself cheated so many time. Once you paid amount in advance( that you are needed to pay as a membership fees) you will get in trap of management. They can change any rule any time, they can change booking policy any time. You must have left without booking, instead of you had paid hefty amount as a membership fees, if you just calculate interest of membership fees it amounts around 30, 000/- per year further you need to pay ASF around 10.000/- per year.
So you are paying almost 6000 to 7000/- per night for their rooms. & if you fail to use your days the days will be lapsed, your due interest, your ASF all go wasted. Further most of club Mahindra resort in India are not on popular destinations, but to avail your days(for which you already paid in advance) you go to these boring destinations. Instead of it if you plan your vacation at any popular destination, you just go to net you would find many of options better & cheaper to it, & there you can get booking with very ease & according to your wish.
How many days you want, how many people you want to go for vacation etc you will find good deals. But if you are member of club Mahindra type time share company you are in mercy of management, first it is difficult to get your desired resort, then desired numbers of apartment, recently they changed their rule abashedly they will not provide more than one apartment to member even he is entitled / have days in his account. Previously this rule was not there. I think nobody after age of 40 like to go vacation alone.
I am red member of club since 2006, most of time I was not able to get booking for desired dates & resort. So in this year I got lapsed 7 days means loss of 40, 000/- already occurred to me. Again if I don’t use my days up to coming august, loss of more days would occur to me. I have 18 nights in my account. So I planned to go for vacations with my friends for Goa In off season dates, but these sadist people don’t allow me to give more apartments, we thought Goa is popular destinations so they are not giving rooms to us, so we searched most unpopular destination of club Mahindra & we find it is Kumbalgarh in Rajasthan, because whenever we sought booking previously for their popular resort they always told us popular resort is booked so you can go to kumbalgarh. Just to save our paid amount to club we planned to go this poor destination of club, but again management is rigid to give only 2 apartments & showing newly implemented rule.
In spite of I paid amount of more than 42 days since 2006 & I got booking for 16 days during this period. Now I am just begging for booking for my advance paid amount.
