I had a one and half month bad experience with CM services and commitments, so at the end I have decided to withdraw my membership. My bad luck was started from the day I decided to join CM membership. The details are as follows:


In the mid of March’13, I received a call from CM marketing dept. They informed me that CM is organizing a seminar in SriGanganagar and I am selected as a participant, for that I will get a 2N/3D free tour in any of the CM Resort. I visited the seminar along with my husband in Hotel Pagoda (venue of seminar). One of your Sales Exe. called Mr. Anil gave us the warm welcome in the hotel. He briefed us about the different CM memberships and told us about the benefits and privileges of being a member.


Later, he introduces me with Mr. Sunny Singh, Take over Manager for giving more details about the offers. Considering Mahindra group professional reputation and the number of offers provided to the new members, I opted for the membership and immediately gave him cheque of Rs. 21900/- (after reducing the cash back offer of Rs. 8000/-). The sales executive and take over manager informed me below details(few related to my episode) regarding White Studio membership (Which I had opted).


a) Special Offer2 – 6N/7D free holiday.


b) Offer of Rs. 6000/- Resort Vouchers (can be utilized in any CM resorts).


Apart from the above details, he also offered me the following from their personal behalf after paying the 3 EMIs


a) Resort vouchers of Rs. 5000/-


b) 5 vouchers of 2N/3D (clubbable at any time with the special offer days)


As was asked to me, I gave one cancel cheque for EMIs and one PDC of Rs. 9394/- dated 7/5/2013.


Later, in the mid of April’13 I got a welcome call and she informed me about all the offers and membership details. She informed me the special offer of 5N/6D and Resort Vouchers of Rs. 5000/-, which was contrary to what the sales executive and take over manager had told us. At that moment I thought there might be some mistake regarding the number of days (as the number of days and the amount of resort vouchers were clearly mentioned in my membership form), so I ignored. After few days I received the welcome kit and I was surprised to see that the numbers of days and amount mentioned in it were the same as informed to me by telephonic call and a big shock to see that the resort vouchers were also applicable in few resorts of CM not for all (as informed to me at the time of membership that it can be use in any resort of CM).


I immediately made a call to Mr. Sunny Singh and informed about the offers received from CM office. I was again surprised, when Mr. Singh informed me that by mistake he has done the wrong commitment at the time of filling up the form. He also told me that he did not know about the offer properly and at the end he ensured me that whenever I will make a plan for holiday he will adjust the remaining one day and will provide the rs. 1000/- voucher also. The surprises were not stopped here only. On 20/4/13, I and my co-applicant decided to went for a holiday in the month of June’13. So I made a call to Mr. Singh to know about the procedure for availing the days early). He replied that if I will pay an amount equalant to 3 EMIs together then I can make the program in the month of June and the option for booking the rooms will be activated within one week time after clearing the cheque. After that I asked about my PDC (dated 7/5/2013, given at the time of membership) and he replied, it will return to me immediately. He also told me to send an email regarding this and about the tour plan. OK, AGAIN on 24/4/2013, I couriered the cheque of an amount Rs. 28182/- to Mr. Singh at the CM, Jaipur Office address and also send the email  for booking of rooms. On 27/4/2013, I made a call to Mr. Sunny Singh for confirming about the courier and my email. He told me that they have received the cheque and it is given to the A/c dept. for clearance. And when I asked about the booking, he told me it will activate tomorrow. Next day, the booking window was activated on my login and I tried to book the rooms but as we were two families and required 2 rooms per day for three days that comes to the total 6 days utilization but in my account only 5 days were available so I could not able to book the rooms. Then I thought now it’s the time to utilize other offer given to me (2N/3D offer voucher) and club that days with my special offer days so that I could able to book my rooms. The same day at evening I once again called to Mr. Singh and told them about this problem and issue one voucher of 2N/3D and also send me the Resort Vouchers of Rs. 5000/- (committed by email at the time of registration). AGAIN I FACED ONE MORE SHOCK when he told me that these vouchers cannot use in such a way because it has separate procedure for booking and also for a specific resorts and session (it was not at all told to us at the time of registration). About Resort Voucher, he replied that it will take 20 - 25 days time to issue it. Secondly Udaipur resort is going to be changed and new resort booking will start after 15th of May and the resort vouchers are not applicable at Udaipur. When I asked what to do now, he told me either I will make a plan for two days or if any of my known has CM membership than I can take the days from his id.


I discussed this with my co-applicant and he told me that his friend has a CM membership and we can take the days from his id. Then again we rescheduled our holiday plan and this time we decided to go only for Kumbhalgarh from 7th to 10th of June (As udiapur resort was not sure and also we were not able to utilize our resort vouchers). I again called mr. Singh on 2nd of May and informed him regarding our new schedule and also mentioned the disappointment of the commitments they have done with me. He once again commits me to compensate everything in later stage. He immediately issued two vouchers of 2N/3D for checking of availability of rooms and told me if not utilized he will give new one to me. Once again I trust on him and booked the rooms at kumbhalgarh.


The things were not end here as few more pains still pending for me from CM side. On 9/5/13, one more shock came on my cell when I received sms on my mobile stating that an amount of rs. 9394/- was debited from my account to CM (ie PDC was cleared). I immediately called Mr. Singh but he did not pick the phone instead of that Mr. Anil picked the phone and I asked them about this matter. He told me that they are not in jaipur and this is not possible as they got the mail regarding clearing of cheque of EMIs and not putting the PDC in clearance. He again replied that let them discuss in Jaipur office and will reply after some time. After waited for 4 to 5 hours, I again called his number and once again mr. anil picked the cell and when I asked about this matter, he again given me one more shock by stating that he discussed with A/c dept. and they are saying by mistake they send the PDC in clearance and now it will be adjusted in the 4th EMI of mine and cut the phone by saying that he is busy with one family and call you later. It was totally disgusting that again and again the same things are repeating  False commitments, misunderstandings, mistakes, etc. And one more thing during this whole episode I did not get the back call as well as the reply of my mail sent to Mr. Singh.


With zero interest in continuing any further, I hereby ask my payments to be returned in 100%.
