This hotel is trying desperately to become a much sought after and much loved one. However, the management does not have any idea about how to achieve that. One had ordered food in room service after a gruelling trek to Rohtang pass. The food came in installments over a period of four hours. After it did come the food was junk bought from the market and not prepared in-house. The choices in the dining room which they call a restaurant were very limited.
They pretend to be this hot shot hotel but offer idli and vadais and nothing much else during breakfast. The bartender cum accounts person in the restaurant is a busy body with a grim face who refuses to smile and threatens people if they don't appear for dinner. If you are presented an invoice he traces his finger on the details and reads them out to you if you take too long to read it. Disgusting behavior. This hotel does not have an elevator (lift). The front office will not give you any supporting bills when they present you with your invoice. I was charged an additional Rs 485 without any invoice.
